Do you know what amazes me?
Clouds.
Always changing and always beautiful.
How the sunset paints them like a blossoming exquisite fire that burns across the sky consuming the whole view.
Never has the image failed to bring any day to perfection.
Regardless of whatever worries plagued me, or any instance that marred the moment before I look heavenward and see the expanse of beauty erupting from the westward rest of the life giving sun as it breaks the horizon that limits our view from the furthest reach of the human eye.
It continues to warm everyone no matter what they believe, fight for, no matter if they are rich or poor, alone or with company, hungry or filled, good or evil it is unbiased in its light and warmth.
The sun and the clouds both provide for all who breathe the air they occupy and again provide us all with the expansive beauty yet ask noting in return.
Just a thought I had the other day while I was outside.
Then I had another thought as I when to bed. I couldn't sleep until I wrote it down to I could put it up here later.
Past deeds should not define us.
What we have learned from them and what we do in the present makes us who we are.
The past is behind us for a reason, so that we can remember it and claim the lessons learned without having them block our view of what is in front of us.
The future but firstly the present.
If we are constantly regretting and dwelling in the past it is impossible for us to move forward.
Its like trying to drive down the freeway in reverse using only our little mirrors.
You will never be able to go as fast or dodge obstructions in your way as effectively.
You will hinder yourself and relationships and interactions with everyone else.
Not to mention loose your mind...
So yeah, just a few of things on my mind as of late.
