I left at about 11 am on the 8th of december. I remember everytime I threw down my john handcock (about as much as when I bought my condo) I also had to write the date. Military style is different for instance today is 20081217. I scored very well on my ASVAB, (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery) I scored a 71. That means that I did better than 71 percent of anyone that has ever taken it. Aparently thats really high. But I did get high mechanical scores, I was happy about it.
But there is a downside to it all. There were no tank crewman jobs open right now. They are checking everyday to see if one pops up. But right now my listed job is working on the GPS systems in trucks and ordinance.
I also went from long wavy black locks and a scruffy red beard to the standard Jarhead do. Thats a 2 on top and a 0 on the sides.

Right now i'm watching jarhead with my mom and stepdad. He was also a marine. After this we might watch Full metal jacket. I'm trying to get as much in as I can, as far as movies.
I love movies.
